1st day

Today, we took the bus and we said "goodbye" to the big city of Saintes. We took the plane in the famous airport of Bergerac at 11:00 A.M. And we arrived in Liverpool two hours later at midday, because of the time difference.

When we arrived at Sacred Heart School we were treated like "kings", the French teacher of this school is very sympathetic. We ate some cakes and went with our exchange partners to meet the families.

It's not a yellow submarine is a white plane to go to Liverpool.

2nd day

Today, we met at 8:30 A.M in a common room. This day we've been all the day in class with our partners. At the end of the day we all attended a very funny Drama lesson with a good Drama teacher. Days at school are really short for English students as the usual day begins at 8:30 A.M and finish at 3:30 P.M!

3rd day

After the usual meeting in the common room, we took the train at 9:00 A.M to Liverpool. The Museum of Liverpool was great. After, we took the bus to visit the city... ..it was raining the tenth last minutes of the travel! In the afternoon we had free time in the city with exchange partners and we can buy some souvenirs.

 

4th day

We have spent the day in a primary school, it was really great! We've done presentations of monuments of France to children and they sing a song just made for us. At the end of the morning there was a ceremony for the 11th of November and commemoration of soldiers of the country (with the symbol of poppies). Cassandra read a poem in French and an English child read it in English. We played football with the children and that was fun! At the end of the day they offered us tea and biscuits and we all sang "petit papa Noël"!

5th and 6th days

During the weekend we stayed with our families. On Saturday evening we all went to the ice skating of Liverpool and on Sunday most of us went to the beach and to a big forest with protected squirrels

7th day

We went back to Liverpool to the Maritime Museum, it was really good and we could dress up like people on the Titanic. In the afternoon we have time to buy the last souvenirs. At the end of the day we took the train to go back to school and meet our exchange partners ....
Unfortunately, it was the last day of the school trip.

8th day

Today was the time to say "goodby" to our English families. We took the bus at 6:30 A.M. to catch the plane to Bergerac at 9:00 A.M. When the plane left Liverpool it was raining and when we arrived in France it was sunny (prejudice is good in France the weather is so good and in England the weather is bad☺☺). We arrived in Saintes at 3:00 P.M.
